French artist Ewen Gur has been choosen as one of three finalist for this years’ PREMIUM WINDOW DRESSER AWARD. The aim is to present the most creative ideas in window dressing to the national and international trade.

„Are you bold enough to translate extravagant ideas?“ This question has been asked to apply for Premium Window Dresser Award 2011 and the French artist Ewen Gur responded with a loud YES. The city and the consumering way of life are among his favorite themes, his artistic style is influenced by street arts and comics. Ewen Gur paints our world with a self-assured line and he is fascinated as a child would be by its gigantic vertically. But however critical his work might be, Ewen’s approach stays an optimistic one.

Ewen Gur shows this entertaining optimism in an artistic window decoration at F95 Fashion Store Berlin. With a twinkle in the eye he represents the theme “Sale”.

The voting will be closed on August 31, 2011. This years’ winner will have the chance to decorate the windows of Galeries Lafayette Berlin for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in January 2012.
